‘Well… I suppose that it’s not urgent for me to be here right now…’ responded Luke, who was very serio- usly considering the offer. The plans for a new Jedi Order were still in mot- ion and the wheels turning would do so, with or without him present, for the time being. ‘Alright. For old time’s sake.’
“See then, kid?? A trip will do ya good. Get that thick head of yours workin’ again.” He quipped, elbow nudging at the other in good nature. “Well all need a break once in a while.”Flying for him always helped – at the very least to escape the memories that would always plague his mind. “I’ll get her ready, anywhere ya wanna go??”
While nothing could ever be the same, to finally have a more stable galaxy, to not be thrust into the WAR on a daily basis … it was refreshing. He didn’t even have to be on the run (okay, there were some close calls, but he always got out of it somehow). But this whole, senate, homely life still was taking some adjustment.“Hey, kid!” He hollered, sauntering up to the other with a quick nod, his usual smirk curling his lips. “What d’ya say we skip the whole politics thing today?? You ‘n me, head out on the Falcon somewhere for a quick break??” To be out and flying again?? Sounded too good to be true.
